African cichlids are the most famous and diverse group which are commonly from Lake Malawi, Lake Tanganyika, and Lake Victoria.

They are well-known as colorful fish with low aggresiveness and mouth brooding females.

American cichlids are usually divided into Central American Cichlid (CA) and South American Cichlid (SA). Most of CA cichlids are big and aggresive fish, while SA cichlids are schooling fish that living in a group with little bit calm characteristic fish.
